Aunovelle Product Story
The story behind Aunovelle products comes from something we experience every day: after buying clothes, will they actually be worn frequently?
We found that many styles look stunning in pictures, but once worn in everyday life, they quickly reveal issues — they’re uncomfortable, the fit isn’t friendly, they’re difficult to style, or they’re hard to care for. Over time, what stays in the wardrobe are often not the “trendiest” pieces, but those few items that are easy to wear, comfortable, and that you want to wear again after taking them off.
So when designing our products, we don’t start with a “fashion trend”; we first break down the scenarios: Workwear needs to be neat but not tight; weekend wear should be relaxed but not sloppy; travel wear must be easy to style, durable, and easy to care for; social events require details without being excessive. Before launching any new collections, we carefully map out the season’s scenarios and wardrobe structure, then move into design and development.
Our development process is simple but reliable:
We start by sketching, creating the pattern, then making samples for fitting, and adjust based on how the pieces fit and feel. The waistline, skirt proportion, and comfort when walking for dresses; shoulder seams, neckline, and cuff tightness for tops; the fit, length, and styling space for bottoms; collar design, placket, pocket placement, and overall shape for outerwear — these details can’t be solved with just a “concept.” We typically test different sizes and make detail adjustments until we find the best fit for everyday wear.
For fabric choices, we consider touch, drape, thickness, and ease of care. For example, some fabrics look great but are too hard to manage, so we prefer options that are better suited for frequent wear. Some styles might look flattering in photos but are inconvenient for movement, so we adjust the structure and sizing to make them more comfortable. The size, fabric, and care instructions you see on the product page are based on what we’ve confirmed during sampling and fitting, because we know that the most important part of online shopping is clear communication, so you know exactly what to expect before placing your order.
We want Aunovelle to feel stable: our styles don’t rely on exaggeration, and the wearing experience is more solid, with easy styling. Our goal is for the clothes to blend naturally into your life’s rhythm, rather than having you adjust your lifestyle just to wear something that “looks beautiful.”
